Artist Profiles

Having insight into an artist’s process has always fascinated me. As an artist myself I pay attention to my own doings-what inspires me to go into the studio, what materials I consider in relationship to my vision, how I deal with challenges that arise along the way & connecting with other artists as a form of support and inspiration.

The Artist Profile Series aims to share this type of insight, not serve as an instruction on technique. I know that there is so much to learn from other artists that goes far beyond their personal techniques and methods for making art- for me it is that rare glimpse into their private world of creating. I hope you’ll join me as I continue this personal journey, connecting with other artists. - Cari Hernandez

Our first Artist Profile features Eileen P. Goldenberg, sharing her studio as she works on the final stages of a painting, and describing the way that she incorporates multiple disciplines into her process.

I truly appreciate the courage it takes to allow another person into your studio space, a space that is private and holds so much reverence, my thanks to Eileen for being the first artist in this exciting new series.

Our next Artist Profile is being edited as I write! Be sure to check for another installment in this series in the coming weeks!
